L'été 2026

End-of-term guinguette with the beginner class

SUMMER ISSUE — Bonjour à tous ! Welcome to the first Real French Classes newsletter, a little window into what I have been up to, and what's coming next term.

What I've been up to

I'm investigating the possibility off running classes in Dunbar as this has been mentioned a few times. If you would be interested in a class closer to home in Dunbar, could I ask you please add your "Count me in" details to the form at the bottom of this page www.realfrenchclasses.com/courses to help me gauge interest.

I have been working hard with the digital experts at Flint & Slate to improve your student experience. First up, they have made a huge improvement to my website making it easy for me to update my class timetable and the very newsletters you are now reading. Next up, they are helping me with a student portal to manage payments and enrollments etc. It's all very exciting to see it come together and I look forward to sharing it with you all.

Le mot du mois

« La rentrée » — the return: to school, to work, to routine. The French have a single word for the September feeling, and it's not a sad one — it's a fresh start.

À bientôt,

Séverine
